OK, to help start getting you fired up for Thursday, take a look at this list which will be the first comment. A friend once came up with this list of What The Komets Mean to Fort Wayne... and I added a few. Add some more to it and see what we can come up with.

Redneck Pearls AKA playoff beads......
Tell me this wouldn't get the crowd and players pumped!!!

(Hope the link works, if not copy and paste.)
They are very nice, I have a couple.
Singing along with the Hockey Song every game.
Putting on the Uniform for games - home and away.
I'm with you on the National Anthem, Hoss. While we're getting fired up for the anthem, can I suggest cross-checking all those clowns down the steps who decide to walk in while the anthem is being performed, along with the Red Coats who show them to their seats?? Burns me up! Seriously, wait until the end, then find your seat. If you can't manage to do that, get there on time! Now that I'm in the mood for a fight, LET'S GO KOMETS!!!!!!!!
Althought it would get the crowd fired up I feel that it would be inapppropriate to go "ape-crap-crazy" 3/4 of the way through the national anthem. Kinda like ppl coming to their seats after it has started instead of waiting.
I know Chicago has the noise tradition but I love what happens in Vancouver when Mark Donnelly sings the anthem during playoff games.

KometFan1985, I understand what you are saying, but have you seen a clip of the crowds going crazy durning the Anthem? I found a clip of the 91 NHL All-Star game, that was being broadcast to the "Desert Storm" troops, that people cheered their butts off the whole anthem and it gave me chills! Just watch it and see if you agree.
Chanting "Let's go Komets!" so loud you can't hear the introduction of the opposing team's starting lineup (no offense, Komets PA)
The sound of (before the renovation of coliseum) feet stomping on the wooden walkways and wooding seats banging to the beat of the music. What was that song anymore?
Woops! Thats wooden seats. Sorry, my mistake.
Jeep Girls
Some of the Jeep Girls are jumping ship... I see them pulling double duty at the Tin Caps games. You can change your shirts, but we still know it's you!!
As a follow up to my earlier post, I did a little road warrier action today and the gas station lady in bowling green asked about the komets and the toll booth lady at the ohio line said all right, let's go komets, but my stops in portage michigan drew some double takes but no comments.
Forgot to say I had my komets jacket on.....way too tired
I figured they just recognized you as the world-famous referee apologist.
