Good to hear that he's gonna be okay, but it does provide more fodder for the decision the CHL made to wait for medical reports before announcing the length of OC's suspension. Now that Menei is back already, OC's suspension is looking rather long.
I personally have never said that it wasn't a bad hit or didn't deserve a suspension, but it all goes back to consistency of discipline at all levels of hockey. I thought the NHL was starting to get it right with their late season suspensions of Matt Cooke and Raffi Torres, then they turn around in the playoffs and let Torres off the hook for a bad looking hit that knocked Brent Seabrook out of game 3 and every game since, and go light on Chris Kunitz and Steve Downie for hits that were clearly reckless and dangerous.

Looks like Rapid City got one over on the CHL!!!! In my opinion i do not think that their francise cares to much for the well being of their players or he would not be back so early considering that the injury was suppose to be so severe!!

Way to set a precedence and yet still be completely inconsistant CHL. I'm okay with Menei coming back....lessons the excuses. I am pissed that the Komets still have to skate a man short. I'm guessing but I would take a gander that the Rush dcos said Menei is out at least 2 or 3 games....thus giving OC 3 games.
Regardless...the more bricks you pile on this team....the more they make you second guess they are quitting. In the end....this situation is rediculous.
