Greg-
I didn't figure D.Stewart would go to a no-contact league. But then again, I would have never guessed Sean Gagnon and Andy Beazeu would have either.
I'm just saying that Mark's a good player and he not going to be with us this season so why does JM keep bringing him up. That's all I'm saying.
And here I thought this announcement was about the Scoopguys. Hmm...
Regardless, could be good finds and probably with the exception of Morency we'll have to wait and see what pans out.
We need a couple of snipers, a couple of strong d-men who can play the body and take care of the front of the net, and we still need a #1 goal-tender not named St.Pierre...kidding a little on the last one. Can't wait for the season to start so we can actually see what the team looks like instead of guessing about it. How's it hanging Super Fan?
tony why are you against koci and his 1 goal and 250 penalty min? this morency guy looks to be about the same. definetly not a goal scorer.
Hitting or no hitting wherever Danny is playing if the moneys right i'd go play in England also.
Chad, Gagnon was told by the NHL team that had his rights to go to Sweden to brush up on his skills and that why he went. Indykfan is right about Danny I think. Money's better.
The British league Stewart is playing, EIHL, http://www.eliteleague.co.uk/ has a few players known to drop-the-gloves: Simon Rizk, Brett Clouthier, Brad Voth, Derek Campbell, Jason Ruff and Rumun Ndur.
chuckitt I am sorry I didn't see your post.
From what I know of the two players Morency has more skills than Koci. Given the choice between the two I take Morency. I really do not see a need for both because you are right they do fill the same role.
You want a name of someone I would look into? Mike Degurse.
