I'm with JR. How ling would it take to restructure the entire minor league system? They would have to start soon and all agree on it. It would take slot of cooperation to do something like that. I don't think it could be accomplished in the offseason. So are we looking at a possible no hockey seaon Blake?

I think we'll have hockey Josh. After all, anyone involved would be highly motivated to make it happen. They wouldn't have any choice if they wanted to be in business next year. Really, making a new league would be no different than what they did creating the new IHL. Not easy, but it could be done.

The IHL, weak ownership and lack of a capable front office is killing any chance for Bloomington to be successful in minor pro hockey. Mr. Franke calls all of the shots in this league and nobody with common business sense understands why he would want to financially support 3-4 other teams in the IHL just to keep Fort Wayne in the league.
