Hold onto your hats, but there's big interest on both sides now and we could know something definitive by the end of the week. No, no one has mentioned a two-year contract, either, but it looks like he's going to be back.

Tell me not to play Well, all I got to say to you when you tell me not to play,I say, "No!"No! No, No, No, No, No!
So, if you ask me why I like the way I play it There's only one thing I can say to you
I wanna rock! (Rock)

And that is what I am talking about, it makes no sense to me! It is a very ambiguos word.
No insults allowed that would be a blog foul, 2 minutes, I would have to go to box and feel shame.
Yes, I'm positive about the facebook site. He said he is moving into a house in PA. Thinking about it, and I don't know Canada well it might be someplace there. If it is PA here there are two AHL teams in PA in the USA
Maybe, but he's going to be spending this winter in Fort Wayne.
Is that a confirmation that he has signed Blake?
Did anyone happen to think maybe Prince Albert. Now I must admit I am just guessing! Thanks Burgee, I would never be able to get really mad at you. I could turn RunningKomet on you. He must really have a HUGE dictionary.
Dschebig: This is a family-friendly blog, watch what you say... Oh, DICTIONARY..... my bad. a thousand apologies.
im getting diabetes!!!!
It's not the size of your dictionary, it's how you use it. Eh, who am I kidding? ;)
Actually, you don't even need a dictionary anymore. Just search "(word in question) definition". That's what I do.
As for Woods, well, I suppose there is nothing that says he has to live in Fort Wayne even if he does play here. And he did tryout for the baby Penguins under Dan Bylsma last fall. That must have been surreal for him when Dan went on to win the Stanley Cup in June. As I understood it, Woods did turn a few heads in that camp, but I figured his abrupt departure from Cincy kind of killed all that.
I have 1-Mitch Woods hockey card + 2 Woods game-worn Cincinnati Cyclones jerseys=signed for 09-10 season with the Komets/ I hear hossa has a bad shoulder and will be out thru december=you can have him on your team.
I feel really, really good about Flint today. Maybe Wendy will get us some pictures!
Is anyone else lost on the collectibles equations?
Flint is back with Travis Prince as the primary owner and Brandon Bordeaux as part of the group. Perani is apparently out. Prince says a coach will be named in the next week and that he has had players approach him about playing this year with the Generals. Also Franke atated that the Generals schedule had a heavy base of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday home games. First home game Oct 16th? against Muskegon. No word on whether the building has been sold. Franke says IHL schedule should be released sometime next week.
Calling Prince the "pefect face for Generals hockey" I found humor in tht quote..
The building was never part of the equation.
Good to hear they will be in the league this season. I hate all other teams when they play the K's, but I still don't want to see any go under. Hope it all works out.
I heard the owner wants about $2mil more than the building is worth. I am sure he doesn't want to lose a solid tennet. Prince is a solid guy from what I have heard. All sounds good again in Flint. Now it is their job to sell it to the people of Flint.
Aw geez, I never said I was driving up there! You added that part. LOL.
Yes, great to hear the Generals will be back, and under the watchful eye of the half-blood Prince no-less. It is better that they should play, though ribbing Blake endlessly about being wrong would have been fun too. ;)
Yeah, can't say that I've ever been big into autographed collectibles. Every year at the EOS party, I enlarge a photo of my favorite player that I took that season and have him sign it, but that's all. Of course a game-worn Woods jersey would be different. That would have many possible uses. ;)
Wendy-- Just so you know TODAY is this week! Wow, I am sure glad that mess is over. I figured since it was so important to you that you would have made the drive up to Flint. You let us all down. Shame! Shame! You could have gor all of the latest and greatest info for the rest of us who might be working or getting a tan.
Alas, right now I can't afford to DRIVE anywhere farther than the other side of town. :(
Someone said it is suppose to be a good day to tan tomorrow.
Ain't "CHANGE" great?
Wow. I hope that this is all it takes for Flint to be great again.
I wish the best for them. I just don't see it improving all that much if at all. I hope they prove me wrong. I don't want to see the Generals and the Fans go another season like they did last year. That was dreadful.
It'd be nice to see them be the 2nd best team in the league after what they had to deal with last year.
Burgee- I have 1 extra ticket to the Brickyard. I promise you'll get a tan there. I should say more like cooked! Also comes with one 3 day parking pass for Lot#2. Think about it sunshine and 43 cars running 200 mph while going round and round.
Dschebig: I hope it's better than the 10-lap race substitute i had to sit through last year. Had amazing seats, just wasn't any racing to watch.
In other news, nice game, Buehrle!
They are talking on bloomington blog how saywer is going to beat-up Stayzer & MacMillan
RunningKomet- Goodyear did 4 tire tests. The last test was 42 laps on one set of tires. Sound like they have the problem onder control. I sure hope so because last year sucked.
No one beats up MacMillan.
