I would say Cescon and Hand was really not much of a fight.....if pulling Cescon down is a win....then Hand wins.
Schrock killed Galbraith....I knew he would. Galbraith was, is, and always has been a mouth only.

Wouldn't say the season is over yet, they don't have to finish in 1st afterall. If changes are not made...now, it will be a lost cause this. This is not a CHL team.

Point wise, considering the number of games played compared to other teams, they aren't toast yet. But like GM said, changes need to be made most Rikki tic or they will be.

I absolutely agree with that. I don't care if they're fan favorites, I dont care what they've done in the PAST. Professional sports is a "what have you done for me lately" business. If you can't perform, it's time to go sell insurance. There's no room for players that feel sorry for themselves either.

In my book first one to the door is Curdy. Rest the top line can soon follow, but in my book I loved watching him play in the past, and i have been sooooooo disappointed with him.
Now, in all fairness i will say this. As a fan, I see his faults plain as day. What I do not see is behind the scenes. There could be locker room stuff or coaching/player things I do not know about. But speaking about performance alone, he is the number 1 guy I would exchange.. And again, rest of the "top line" would follow.
Sorry to all you "true" komet fans.. I am throwing someone under the bus.. I must not be a fan. Thats fine by me. Start the bus for me rather than complaining about it. Lets run em all over and start new while we still can. Still have season tickets to use, and so far haven't gotten my money worth on them.

Positive Patty, reporting for duty....I still believe!!! I just don't post much anymore. But I still think they'll turn it around. Christmas sounds good to me, sounds about normal for them, so....sure! I'm here, win or lose. Usually always positive, just more quiet now. Nothing new to add.

The Komets are now 9 points behind Quad City for the playoffs. They can't wait until Christmas.

Not much to say either way that hasnt already been said...
If the K's management hasnt identified the problem area's by now then I doubt if they will which will make for a looooong season.

I know we have won 3 straight....some call us spoiled.
I still am not happy about this season.
You watch Schrock go out and play every shift like it might be his last day on Earth with the ability for nature to make ice.......and then you have others that are just floating around and not doing anything to make a difference.
What is PC doing other than feeling down in the dumps?
There is something going on that we can't see.....I haven't a clue what it is, but there is some turmoil in the locker-room that has guys like Curadeau not trying. I don't understand it. If I was losing like this, it would eat at me to the point that I do something to rally this team to fight for something.
This team seems to have a group of guys who don't care....
And another group that cares, but can't get it going without the other guys deciding to care.
Does that sound stupid?

I had heard from my cousin that there are locker room issues with one person (not a vet), but I really don't know if that's true or not. She's been a STH for years and knows the Frankes casually (she said they've been hiding from her lately -- gee, I wonder why). She might very well know someone who knows something, but I still don't feel comfortable repeating it here. Makes me wonder though, the way things are going for the K's.

It makes you wonder when Leo says, "The chemistry is there. That's not a problem at all."

It just makes me wonder who, besides Sims, is leading the Komets right now. Did someone try to lead, but maybe rub people the wrong way? Becoming a true leader can be a tricky proposition, after all. Sims isn't a fiery coach. He needs strong, passionate leaders on the ice to help him out.

Wendy, I had heard some of the same things around some hockey circles.
Wonder if that one guy is shown the door, and if they were able to attract the team leader back into a Komet uniform if this thing would turn around instantly???

Turn around instantly? Doubt it. And it won't happen anyway, so it's a moot point. But I wouldn't rule out that changing relatively few players could potentially have a huge impact on the team's morale and attitude on the ice. And morale and attitude can be everything in hockey. Assuming it's true, of course.
