Thunder comes back

Two goals by Matt Summers makes it 5-3 Komets. Both were lapses in defense, and the Ks better be careful because Wichita is due some power play time.

Shooting gallery

It's 5-1 Komets on goals by Daniel Maggio, Colin Chaulk and Leo Thomas. Wichita went five minutes without a shot on goal and then gave up two straight power play goals. Ks were about to go on another pp when Thomas scored. Shots are 20-13.

It's 2-1

Aaron Davis scores on a nice sharp-angle shot that might have gone in off Nick Boucher's mask. Frankie DeAngelis just got called for a penalty and Wichita is going on the power play.

Komets up 2-0

Great feed from Mele to Schrock and then Chaulk sets up Bryant Molle for a bomb from the point. Komets are getting GREAT scoring chances every shift so far. Shots are 6-4 Fort Wayne but scoring chances are 5-1. Komets' speed is an even bigger factor than it was in Wichita.

Bring a jacket

At pracitce this morning, the rink was enshrouded with a heavy fog, so much that there was heavy condensation on the glass. I'm sure the coliseum will get this under control, in part by pumping up the air conditioning. No matter how nice it is outside, expect it to be a little chilly tonight inside.

Predictions?

What do you think is going to happen tonight?
