The Rush is playing the CHL like a fiddle. They faked Menei's injury so that OC wold be suspended. They freaking lied and falsified the Doctors report. Why isn't this obvious to you?
If you have as bad a concussion as they said he had, no way he can first of all make the trip to Fort Wayne, and secondly play in a hockey game without puking all over himself everytime he moves.
I had a concussion in college from a fastball to the head....I was sick for 2 weeks before I could even walk straight.
Ask Frankie D about how he felt during his concussion.
Don't believe anything this Rush team spews. They are professional liars and hacks.
And the CHL is second rate at best.
I think this is a loop-hole for the Komets to pack up and move on to a real league.....ECHL here we come.
Let's finish off the Rush Sunday, beat Colorado, beat Allen, take their trophy, and dump it in the Maumee River.

I've heard the "franchise fee" for the ECHL is one million dollars. I bet right now, the people of Fort Wayne would help kick in. I am ashamed of the CHL and have lost all respect for the league.

Honestly, I couldn't tell from that crummy video if the hit was to Menei's chin or not. All I do know is that O'Connor is not the type of player who would do that intentionally, and Sims isn't the kid of coach to put bounties on opposing players. But with the emphasis today on head shots and concussions, I'm not surprised there was a suspension. When the punishment finally was announced, I thought it was clearly excessive for a player who has never been a thug, enforcer or in trouble for anything before. What annoyed me most was all the accusations coming from the Rush and their fans. And the fact that Reaney wasn't suspended for what was obviously an intentional and retaliatory hit was an absolute travesty.
We'll surely see now if the CHL is serious or not when we see if/how long Harvey is suspended.
As far as using this as a loop-hole to the ECHL... I'm in complete agreement. I don't take offense to your comments and I appreciate your emotion and enthusiasm, but I don't think this is a league wide conspiracy even though I agree with what Franke said tonight. I just think the protocol the CHL used to determine the length of the suspension is totally flawed and misguided.

I never actually thought that this was going to happen. Some people thought that the Frankes would be targeted at some point and that the IHL teams would be treated differently......
Well..........here is the proof I guess.
This is truly unreal.
This might be the end of the CHL and Duane Lewis is the guy who is "misguiding" the rocket ship that is getting ready to explode in his backyard.
This league could lose as many as 8-10 teams this summer.
I am not kidding folks.
The rumors must be absolutely true about the Komets either going to the ECHL......or some sort of new Midwest AA league coming together.
I don't think David Franke gets this brash and bold if there wasn't a plan. JMO of course, but maybe the CHL knows we are hopping ships, and they are nailing us before we leave, and David is telling it like it is because, he has nothing left here to lose???

One thing we do know.. the Rush are the whiniest hockey team these fans have ever seen... and with almost 60 years of history to work from, that's saying a TON.
