The first period reminds me of how the Blackhawks have been playing in the playoffs...trying to make the pretty plays instead of just throwing it on net...And random question...Is Dick Brosal here? It sure looks like him standing under the zamboni entrance in the shadows

Actually, Hoberg has called it exactly like I expected him to call the first game of a series, and the players should have expected this as well. Off the puck, he's pretty much let them get away with murder. On 90 percent of these penalties, he didn't have a choice because they were after the whistle.

Game should not be close The Komets have hit 3 post and Syro missed an open net. Hodberg is trying to be the focal point in this game. He needs to watch NHL playoff's no penalties are called on scrums. I like Hansen but lost some respect for him tonight with a couple of cheap shots. And he did run into Haun on purpose!

Hansen barely touched him. Haun flopped. I've elbowed Justin harder tonight sitting next to him.
Hoberg has also told the players several times to shut up and play and they refuse to.

Just like Hansen barely cross check Chewy in the mouth? I have to disagree with on Hoberg he could have let the Scrum stuff go no harm no foul. The parade of 10 min misconducts was not called for. I have liked watching the NHL playoffs because they have let the scrums go after the whistle. Does this make me a negative nellie? lol
