How awesome is that?? 1945 names engraved!!! I wish I could have went tonight!!
I meant, from 1945 to 2008. I probably didn't spell that out well enough. So there's actually about 1,000 names in all.
Blake, would I be correct in guessing that the years 2001-2007 would not be included as those were the years that the IHL was not in operation?
Even better. If they are going to bring the Turner Cup back, why not bring it back to the fullest. I called about the Friday paper and didn't get an answer. I will email you tomorrow if I can't get an answer. I still need some Komet book signed by some author so meetin up with him might be worth the gas!!!! :) I'll make sure the gf stays warm this time so we can talk a bit of hockey!!!
I wanted to take this space to let Blake know how much I (We)have appreciated all of his hard work this year. His stories have been great. His BLOG "outstanding"! Blake you work in a thankless world. Real Komet fans love and appreciate your columns. We also look farword to each one. Your are a "great Guy" a Komet at heart, just one in street shoes. Have a great summer. We are expecting a fantastic book. God Bless!
Had a blast last night. As usual, the prices for jerseys were way out of my league. It's just too bad hometown boy, Brandon Warner wasn't there.
And yes, Blake, thanks for all you do for us Komet fans. We really appreciate how you juggle a million things to keep us informed. I'm really looking forward to the next book and Chaser's autobiography.
I'll be counting the days 'til October rolls around. Have a great summer everyone!
