CDs will be available at tomorrow's game at the souvenir stands. They cost $14.95. There are currently no plans to have Bob available to sign them after the game because he'll be getting on the bus right away to head to Rapid City. At least that's the plan.
Also, even though I might be on the way to Rapid City for Game 5, my books will be participating Saturday at the Allen County Public Library's Author Fair from Noon to 5 p.m. You can check out The Lake Effect and some other offerings from Revive World Media.

As far as Schoup goes, he's really tamed down this season. He sits over in my neck of the Jungle these days and has been a pretty mild fan compared to some instances in the past. I'm not sure if anyone else does this, but do any of you have a favorite fan? There are definitely some legends at the games: "Grandpa 1", "Twister", Didier's son when he's dancing (really gets into the games!), etc., etc.
Others have said this, but for me this has been the most fun I've had watching hockey over the length of a season. We weren't the best team and everything had to be earned. Even losing, this was more fun than watching the Komets beat up on teams that weren't on equal footing as far as the aspects of hockey go.
I'm not sure about a fav fan, but I do know one on your list that would not even be close to the top of mine....I do really like when you see someone out around town and go, "Where the heck do I know them from???" and it turns out to be another fan that you see so much at games.
The guy that sits atop 202 who tried the Blackhawk anthem acouple years ago is my favorite...There's also an awesome guy in lower 213
I bet I know which one you are talking about, Hoss, and I agree. The bad part is that his entire family sits around him and thinks he's hilarious, so he never stops.
GM: What does the guy in lower 213 do? Not sure I know of that one.
Hoss would not care if his family liked it or not, and believe me, we do not encourage him. He is his own person and he has a lot of passion for the Komets!! And if anyone can yell over him...I'd like to see you try!!!

I honestly don't think I've ever heard Hoss yell anything. I wasn't saying it's Hoss' family that is encouraging him, but the fan I think Hoss is referring to.
My favorites are the away game fans!! Fun to watch and are great to be around!! The pride and dedication in our team really shows!!! Lets Go Komets!!!!!
One of the guys in 213 just has a great dry humor with his yelling...things such as "you're bad at this" "you're a mean horrible person" "I'm not very good with insults but I don't like you" etc etc...Just a fun section to sit around, they're not afraid to get loud and get on a ref/player

Rich in lower 217 is awesome....and he takes requests from BlueLineBaby when she is too tired to yell them herself....like calling the Mudbugs the "Ladybugs" after they just got whooped in a fight...LOL....thanks Rich! :)
