Is the scanner that made this document attached to a fax machine that uses "rolls" of paper? Wow. My eyes hurt.
I commend Mr. Chase for his apology, albeit untimely. The use of the term "fringe group" is a little extreme.
It's hard to believe this is still happening a month later.

So this whole sad affair was simply resolved once the two parties were able to "talk." As it should have been right from the start.
I'm not so sure "fringe group" isn't an apt term. A lot of hateful words were written, a lot more than a one-off word spoken by Chaser in the heat of calling the game. Chaser used one word. They used thousands.
Read the emails - they hurt both Chaser and Mr. Okikibi in what was the saddest display I think I've ever seen from "fans" and a "writer." Read their tweets, where they really show off. They didn't show consideration for Mr. Okikibi's feelings, they used him as an excuse to go on a tear and made things worse instead of better. It was appalling.
