Or should that be book signing/release party?
Anyway, my next book, ``The Lake Effect'' will be available for purchase online Saturday, and we're having a signing party at Hall's Triangle Park from 3-5 p.m., Sunday. If you can't make it, the book can be ordered at booksbybauer.com starting Saturday. (We're having a big story announcing the book in Saturday's News-Sentinel.) It will cost $15, and I'll be happy to sign almost any time.
The book is currently available at the Book Rack in Time Corners and on E. State St., Mitchell Books, Village Books and Every Other Book on Crescent Ave. It will be in the ACPL very soon and we hope to have it in the chain bookstores within the next month. We've got a new shipment of 125 coming in for this weekend.
Here's the teaser: What if you never recognized the biggest moment in your life?

Congratulations Blake!
And to all you people on this blog....
This man spends hours upon hours providing you this blog which provides you hours of free of charge entertainment. The VERY least you can do is open up the wallets and buy one (or more) books!
Not that I am trying to guilt anyone into anything... ;)
I'm looking forward to my signed copy!
Me Too!
Does it come in large print with lots of pictures?
Seriously, Blake, I don't know how you find the time. I'm looking forward to it and will probably see you Sunday.
Man....I'll see what I can do. I might have to try to dump the play date off on the hubby and come out on Sunday. I get to have fun on the bus trip on Saturday, though, so I don't know if I'll have exceeded my fun allowance for the weekend by then...LOL...I am gonna get the book, though. I'm looking forward to reading it. It sounds very cool (pardon the pun, there).
Sorry about my confusion, but will your book be available for sale at your signing, or must it be purchased at one of the stores your mentioned beforehand?
Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. Yes, it will be available for sale on Sunday. Unfortunately, it's not hardback... yet.
And for anyone who's wondering, there is no hockey in it, but there are some nice bits about minor league baseball and backyard football.
Is correct change appreciated? Is there a cash discount?
Burgee your copy is just double the regular price! That way you get 2 of them. One for you and one for me! I like that idea!
Don't forget about the bowling, too.
Just in case anyone else makes this error....Village Books (Northcrest) told me yesterday they do not and will not be carrying them....the clerk there told me they only have used books and he wondered why your publisher would have told you they would be there, Blake. I'm gonna try another store today.
I picked mine up at Mitchell Books yesterday.
Thanks, Steve....got mine a bit ago at the Book Rack on East State. Nice guy working there, too. Only 4 left there! Blake is a hot seller!! :)
