We're getting very close now to both of these being ready for the public. The cover to Bob's book is done by Andy Nichols and the cover to the Legends book is a photo by Aaron Suozzi, formerly of The News-Sentinel. My hope is to have the Legends book out within the next two weeks, and Bob's book out two weeks after that. Thanks for all of your patience.

Why did you have to have Fletch as the cover that is going to make me not want to buy the book.
Didn't have a choice. It's the only picture I could come up with that was in color that showed the current banners. We tried shooting the banners several different ways, but we could never come up with a vertical one that didn't have some advertisement in the background. We can't use a Komets logo any more and didn't want to use a generic cover this time.
I understand Blake. Its all good. Honestly I was just messing around. In all likley hood I will prob buy the book.
So...why can't you use the Komets logo any more?
It's a trademark/copyright issue. The Komets want and deserve control over their intellectual property. To use the logo would require an agreement of some kind that compensates the Komets for the use of their property.
I'm neither involved with the discussions on this or a copyright attorney, but as a photographer who licenses the use of my images, I have a basic understanding of the principles.
