Lucas Salerno scored a hat trick and Kris Heffelfinger had three assists as the Chargers beat Evansville 5-0. Alex Zion made 16 saves for the shutout. Pete Biggs and Dylan Janiszeveski also scored goals and Kelly Hay, Tyler Mason and Cory Day had assists. There was no scoring in the first period, and Salerno scored twice in the second.

Congrats! the ft wayne area high school sports teams are awesome! 2 hockey state champs , 2 girls state bball champs, we are always represented in football in the fall and maybe another title or two for the boys bball teams, way to go!!
