Why in the WORLD would the Komets not try to get a guy like Sorgi. He has a regular shift and will kill a Komets before tonight is over.

Team is plenty tough. The vets need to step up. The young guys will need time to gel. What about this team is not tough? How many fights do you want? How will that help the passing?
Topshelf! The team is fine! It was the first game for many of these guys. Exactly what snuff said, fighting wont improve the passing, team chemistry. Give the team time to gel together!
When you get beat in all phases of a game Snuff you need a little of everything. Having Schrocky fight a guy who is 6-5 is just plain stupid. Having Molle take on their resident goon is also stupid. Bottom line when you get shut out on home ice and embarssed at the same time you need more than what you got. Said all summer I was impressed with what Eville was putting together they have guys who can put the puck in net, the have a very physical defense and gritty forwards. Good news they have all week to correct issues and get everyone on the same page. It is just one loss and they still have 60+ to play

I want my money back. That was terrible. Bennefield looked awful, worst player on the ice tonight! If we have toughness it's a shame, nothing against LKS, he shouldn't be asked to dance with 6'5 partners.
well 10000 people just watched a team that got pushed around all night. Sgroi did what ever he wanted, so did Makway. Next Saturday will be no different. This team has no one who should be expected to handle the HW in this league. Let's talk again about Sims record in this league. Different players -same team. SAME coach-same team

Agree now and last year sims in chl is way diff coach talk all u want about how he was in uhl or ihl or franke league he has not been a great coach besides in ft ewayne......

The highlight of the night for me was the girl sitting a few rows down from me in the wild stripe Tim Haun jersey.
She was lighting up Boucher worse than the Icemen were. If you guys thought I was rough on the -3 captain here I couldn't hold a candle to her!!

I guess I still didn't see them getting pushed around. I saw us making some rookie mistakes passing to areas they should not have been. I saw Leo Thomas blow a goal that many at Canlan could have finished which could have changed the tone of the game.
I saw them penalties they should not have. I also saw some potential in the new guys. It is going to take time folks. You can't expect these kids to play like the same old Komets overnight. If they look this bad by game 10 and no changes have been made then it is panic city. The passing will get better. The captain will probably not be -3 again this season. Boucher will stand on his head as he has in the past and management will make some moves as needed.
By the way....it was GREAT to see all of the Evansville fans in attendance.

She was awesome. I think the was a little hard on Boucher but I loved her relentless passion. On one of the goals I thought she was going to elbow the teeth out of the poor guy sitting next to her.
HFFL: it was 4-0 last year against Rapid City.
Bennifield wasn't that player at Rockford. He was gritty and got after players like last Sunday. The lights might have been to bright tonight for him or something. Everyone ask for toughness, but I think toughness is there, but size isn't. Llewellyn played very physical, but when you play the way he did tonight, you can't let your teammates try and clean up your mess. He is going to have to stand up for himself very soon. Last thing, if this team is younger and faster, there wouldn't be 5 hooks on the books. It's one game, but Evansville was better from the face-off to the buzzer tonight. It's a finesse team. It will take awhile to gel. I just hope they survive the learning curve!
