* David Franke said Brandon Warner has a deep bone bruise and a small fracture in his wrist. He said it might take 2-3 weeks to heal. The Komets are hoping to get Jake Pence back this week, and Olivier Legault. Dominic Osman is shooting for Thanksgiving.
* The Komets are waiting to hear what IHL VP Brad Jones has to say about a knee-on-knee hit from Muskegon's Kyle Kos on Brad MacMillan Friday night. Kos received a kneeing major which means it will automatically be reviewed by Jones.
* There's only one goaltender in the IHL with a GAA under 3.00.
* Bloomington has played only two road games so far. Port Huron is 0-3 when leading after one on the road. Komets are hitting 28.6 percent of their power plays on the road. Bloomington has scored on only 8.3 percent of its power plays on the road while killing off just 66.7 percent of the power plays against.

id say if Kos knows whats good for him he better hope Brad Jones suspends him for friday nites game or its likely that Macmillan will take care of the issue himself and even after jones does what he needs to do with Kos i think Kos has a good ol whoopin coming (mac) style
Bloomington has only played two raod game to date. Wow. That might hurt them at the end of the year when/if they need points and have to travel a whole lot.
Kos is dirty, what a loser, knee on knee hits are intentional and deserve 5 games.
We need to hit Robinson every time he is on the ice, then he will not want to be out there, personalize the defense this weekend.
Saturday's game, parsons needed a little cheese with his whine, he also needs a haircut.
i agree with you burgee.Parsons is a little cry baby and a big mouth someone needs to drop him too! and as far asa his hair he doesnt want to cut it its already falling out on its own. haha
To Burgee's point.....If we are playing a team that gets most of their scoring from 1 or 2 guys (i.e. Parsons or Robinson) why aren't we hitting them the whole game? Rockford used to do that to us in the playoffs all the time and it was very effective. Heck, Martinson even called out players in the paper and said that they were going to get hit every shift they were on the ice. This is obviously harder to do when you are playing a team with balanced scoring but when playing Bloomington there is no reason that we should let Parsons skate around freely.
I'm not really sure I should let hair jokes get by on this blog. They've been hitting Parsons plenty, hence his short temper.
Can anyone translate this press release from FIC? My eyes started bleeding a few paragraphs in.

Parsons needs some Rogaine or Propecia, not a haircut. K's did a great job of cuting off Parsons options and forcing to carry the puck more than he would like, thus more contact. The K's are fortuneate to have some outstanding one-on-one defenders that makes that work.
What's up with A.J. Boizian I have never seen a player that transparent during the game and have somthing to say after the final horn.
Thanks to whomever decided to cut down the pre-game intro's. KUDOS.....
AJ was just mad that someone told him he'd never be as good as a hockey player as his wife...what kind of jerk would say that :)
