The schedule is perfect for me. However, I will have a very hard time making a road trip this round. Maybe the 14th...
Finally a schedule which makes sense and gasp some breaks between games, and unheard of...Two Saturday night games in Fort Wayne
I love the fact that the IHL, the Komets and Generals finally got it right. I love the fact of a day off between games except for next friday, saturday...these games are huge for both teams, they deserve a little time between games off to recover a little bit.
I'm pretty sure I'll make a road game..just not sure which one...
How about the coliseum, too?
This makes me happy.
It works well for all parties involved, I think...and I hope it draws more fans to the games for both teams!
*\o/* GO KOMETS!!! *\o/*
Two Reason Why I LOVE this schedule...
1) Home ice advantage. We just dont lose when we have
2) Two Saturday games so more people will rock the Jungle! It adds more to home ice.
3) Breaks in between games. There`s no need to rush the series.
Any interest in a BUS TRIP Friday May 14th.? We would need to leave around 3:00 pm. at the latest. I am just asking here first.
Schebig: I can bring 2.
THERE CAN BE NO BUS TRIP! BECAUSE THERE ARE ZERO BUSES AVAILABLE IN THE TRI-STATE AREA.
All the buses are taking school kids on trips, mostly to Washington D.C. Sorry, I tried.
Schebig, the earlier we leave, the more inclined I (and others) will be to go on the bus trip.
Those darn kids and their education always get in the way. When I first read that there were no busses I thought maybe there was a Vera Bradley road trip.
Alan--Think about it, school kids going to DC for education benefits! What will they learn? How to do nothing, get paid for it and worse get away with it. I called 5 bus companies.
Hey Blake, what are the chances of having the Monday night meeting/BBQ in the parking lot of the Coliseum at about 5:30 or so? It's your fault you know, you jinxed it when you brought up this possibility..... :-)
mightbite will miss games 5 & 7
I have the day after game 7 requested off from work....that way I don't have to call in dead again....I will still have to deal with keeping the boy home or not, depending on the whole "triple overtime" potential. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed we put them away a lil' quicker this time! LOL...
Bethlem's Mens group doing a tailgate party? Move that to Tues. night. I will be in my seat at "THE JUNGLE" Onward and upward GOKOMETS
Have a big Komet convoy to flint
Everyone with orange, black, and white cars, let's line 'em up and have a parade around town.....well, if the price of gas comes down, I guess.
I know we've discussed this on here before, but can we B2 at a bar on a big screen for an away game? If not, why not? I'd love to watch the away games somewhere with some of my friends. Preferably somewhere that's someplace I don't have to clean up afterwards and where I won't wake my kid up yelling at the computer when Hawthorne or Hoberg makes/does not make stupid calls....and my thumbs get tired texting 4-letter words all the time...LOL...
Party at BLB house:)????????
Sorry Dave. The meeting has to take place as scheduled, meaning I have to miss the barbecue that I scheduled. :(
I am very sorry also. I had made plans to attend. Komet Hockey must prevail!
LOL @ mightbite....that would be so much fun!!
Party? Count me in!
