I've heard a couple of rumors today that Kaleigh Schrock won't be playing tonight but that is not true. He will be in the lineup. So will Tom Mele, though the Komets are saying who he'll replace in the lineup will be a game-time decision.

Well let's see what the options are:
Artie- Doubt it
Leo - possibility no points in this series, but has speed
Curdy- Also has not produced but can get hot...
Patrasso-Has not actully lighted anything up in the play-off's is big body, but has he really been noticed?
PC-Has had limited role thus far and at times has been a liability on the PP as a d-man...
I think logic tells you PC, but because he is a vet and has played a part in 3 championship he doesn't sit my guess is Patrasso will sit tonight. Line combos could look like this.

Isn't that exactly what they have needed to do ALL season long? Sure, they have produced sporadically during the season, but to expect them to "change" and do it three games in a row is unreasonable now.
The "secret" to their success is right there in paragraph 6. Confidence has been lacking all year. Don't know why but they are a fragile team emotionally.
They better have their heads in the game tonight or their butts will be at a golf course tomorrow.

As the school day began, my students kept asking me if the Komets would be playing hockey on Friday. As the day progressed, more students inquired about the status of the Komets and their series against the Rush. I explained the importance of tonight's game to them, all the while, repeating to myself the quote from the movie Miracle when Kurt Russell, playing Herb Brooks, addressed the team before
their game against the Soviets.
The following lines are from the movie, and I believe are fitting for this most important game:
"Great moments are born from great opportunity.
And that's what you have here tonight, boys.
That's what you've earned here, tonight.
One game.
If we played 'em ten times, they might win nine.
But not this game. Not tonight.
Tonight, we skate with 'em.
