Sims says "the teams are better" in the league this year, but Blake has told us time and time again talent is down in the league this year. Who's right on this one??
Sorry Blake, it seems like a slow posting day and I have to try to stir it up a little ;) Fair question though right, or have I misunderstood? Can teams be better with less talent? Another good question!

I don't believe there is less talent in the league. Look at a team like Dayton. They are very talented. Then you can look at a club like QC. This is what happens with no veteran leadership. Did you see that part? The vets will lead this team and the Komet sort of faithful fans can be quiet and sit and drink their beer in bliss.

Guy Dupius is right the "Law of Averages" is on his side. This team can only get better. They can only go up. They are about as low as they can go right now. Improvement has to happen fairly soon. Let's hope it starts tonight.

I hope you're right Dschebig. I'd much rather be blogging about Komet blowout victories :P I would love to hear "We want 10!" again sometime soon, just not too sure how realistic that one is this year.

There's no way the talent is down in the league. The goalies are alot better than in the past in this league. How many teams folded in the past 12 months or so? Those extra players needed somewhere to go. The results of the teams folding would be more players available which would ONLY improve the leagues (all of them) as a whole

Flint waived everyone's guy to hate Tyler Willis. Personally I hope he is out of hockey. Rumor is he could be going back to Kalamahoosit as the ASSn't Coach. Bootland must be in trouble if the best they can find to assist him is Willis.

Im not sure why everyone has to always blast kzoo, they made the move for the fans to a more stable league, one thats not on the brink of folding every year. i understand the dislike for pickard but you cant tell me that you wouldnt like to see that rivalry back someday.

they moved Varone to 30-day IR. That's the only move they had to make with Syroczynski being in Norfolk.

The K's wont have to cut anyone, im sure that they will work the IR system and if need be they could put sebring on the bench as an emergency back up.

As a true Komet fan I would love to see Kalamazoo back in the league or have the K's make the move to the ECHL.... Honestly watching a game at wings stadium, just the atmosphere and the closeness-nothin better!!!!!!

I always enjoyed going up to kzoo, not a bad drive and a nice barn to watch a game. too bad kzoo and toledo are in a league thats scattered across the country.

It's not like I can argue with that, now can I? No, Tiger, I never played, other than street hockey. My ankles were so bad, when I tried to skate I looked like a bowl-legged cowboy.

Yes Kwings fan would love to see the Wings back in THIS league.I think the move was too quick to the ECHL. It is a good league but it is all over the place and not set up for the close rivalrys.
