Is it just me or does Warner look terrible? Why do we give this guy so many breaks, he is not contributing at all but yet we keep in on the team. Maybe I should have my daddy write checks to the komets and I could get on the team. Whats some opinions out there, I am interested?

I think it's Al Sims call. If he would cut his own son I truly believe he must be contributing whatever it is Al wants from him or he would not be sticking around.

Not to mention he can play forward and D, he also quarterbacks the power play.

Dont get me wrong...I love that we have 3 hometown kids playing for the k's, something just seems off with Warner this year.

I like Warner, but you never know when that mysterious hole in his stick will show up.
If I hadn't seen Syro fight with my own eyes I never would've believed it happened. Loved Kent Horman's comment on the news last night... something about dealing the other guy the five of clubs! LOL
I am now officially a believer in Bobby Phillips. Only took me half the season, I know. Always liked the kid, but last night I decided to pay closer attention to him when he was on the ice after reading some of the comments praising him on here. I am impressed. :)

I am in a household where Sryo and Hukalo are the favorites...Syro has always been physical. When he was here in 06-07 (UHL) he had 106 PM...He will drop the gloves if he needs too...
FMM....its about time you have seen Phillips...I have liked him from day one and I dont give locals much of a chance. Love love Schrock and Phillips this season.

I don't know that quarterbacking the powerplay this year should be a high point on his resume...

FMM, I'm pretty sure I saw Syro fight when he was in Cincy last season. When the Komets signed him, I knew he was someone who could definitely take care of himself as well as look out for teammates. Funny, but I guess some people were surprised by it.

I think instead of Quarterbacking the PP, Warner is more of a Free Safety.. He always seems to be dropped back into his own zone chasing down a puck he watched go wizzing by..

Im just glad that none of the kids got let go, i didnt think that they would have the guts to cut lose varone since he was here last year and and won a cup. it was the right choice though. who will be the next casualty when hukalo comes back, im guessing one of the rookies, warner did an ok job filling in at forward but i didnt think they were going to keep him up front, do they not really want him on defense or what?
