Blake-Any word on the press conference in Flint? They sure need a PR guy!

Ah. So I guess they didn't get to change the schedule much after all. Sure, they cashed in one Wednesday for a weekend game, but they lost another Sunday to a "Flint Special". Or are they still hoping to make more changes?

Get rid of the Mad Ants- it's really bad basketball! What happened to the big announcement you were going to make Blake that you couldn't at the time? It's been a couple of weeks- yet no announcement from you.

jonndfi would get rid of everything if he had his way. He wants to get rid of the TinCaps too because he says high school teams could thump them. Some people are never happy.

some people arent happy unless they can trash things. any sports venue in the city deserves a chance to succeed. must have been a reason we were chosen as the best minor league city in the nation!

Great news on the Flint signings. Keep the positive momentum going. Now it is Quad City's turn. On another matter....I am curious about Sean O'Conner and where he has signed. I heard a rumor about Wheeling. Has he signed there? If he has, he will be in for an interesting experience playing for Greg Puhalski. I'm not sure he will like it after playing for Al Sims. If anyone knows the answer please post back.

I was wondering the same thing about O'Conner. I had also read he was signing with Wheeling and that it was all but official but then never heard another word about it. Still kinda holding out hope that he winds up back here!

Jonndfi, that was Syroczynski, 6-5, 240; 55 goals in last 102 games in ECHL. I thought that was implied at the time. Sorry.

Haven't heard anything on O'Connor lately, other than I heard Wheeling very early on, but I've been a little tied up. I'll try to find something next week.

Blake- Nice football section very well done! However, I could find nothing in it about hockey. Are you going to do a special section on High School hockey? That would be cool!

Awww, is it all about the money with the paper? I'm so disillusioned....I'd also love to see something in there about the little kids' house league at McMillan, but I'm sure that won't happen now either. :( Oh well, as my aunt told me, kids should not be playing hockey in the house anyway....sigh....is it October yet? I'm bored with baseball, and football too. No offense, Blake. I would just rather get hockey going again!

whats the word on the dayton gems/ former buddys pizza owners, there was an article in the journal gazette that said they are being sued by four different people. i hope that there is not another flint disaster brewing.

As bad as this might seem, I think the Komets jersey should have been placed lower, maybe even last. Dayton has some neat jerseys. My order would have been...

1. Muskegon
2. Flint
3. Dayton
4. Quad city
5. Bloomington
6. Icehawks
7. Komets

I really liked Quad Cities Jersey the best. I will wait to rate them after I actually see them. We must be able to read the numbers to give them (the players) their points. The Komets have always been the best for that. Something tells me Bloomington and Dayton will be a nightmare to read. Muskegon and Port Huron's are impossible to read.

I like our jerseys but I'm into basic things. I'm not all about all the flash when it comes to jerseys. I tend to think it's who's in the jerseys as opposed to what's on them.

Why don't you tell me what you like CHUCKITT; that way, we can all like the same things! Is it okay if I have a difference of opinion to be on here? Just because the Komets jersey's would be voted last IMO doesn't mean I don't like the Komets. It is pretty basic uniform. You and Dan must related. Our jerseys are fine but if I were to compare them to other ones, I don't think it would rank up there at the top.

Komet jerseys are boring.....they dont have to be flashy but....come on its been pretty much the same for how long?

I like the Roadies. I like the Kaptain Komet. I like the flame jerseys. I hear we are getting an alternate jersey this season to that is new. Lets hope we see a return to the Kaptain Komet.

I like the classic logos=Bruins,Blackhawks, Flames etc. not the kiddie ones=Ducks,Sabers,Wild etc.

And I like the Kaptain Komet uniform too....anything that has a Komet logo on it of any kind is fine with me (although truth be told, I don't like the pink ones, and yes, I am a girl...I just don't like pink).
