Burgee got one early start. He's in Indy for the game tonight.
Me, I am headed to the lake tomorrow (Friday) at 1:00 pm. Got a whole week (10 days)to relax and get ready for Komet Hockey. The week-end will be crazy with all the people but starting Monday evening it will be nice and quit. Kids back in school and no one around. Now that is how to spend a vacation.

This weekend I'll be taking it easy and getting caught up on my online class that I'm taking. Actually, a cookout and an adult beverage (or two!) would make for a wonderful weekend....Thanks for the suggestion, mightbite!
Next weekend (Sunday, September 12) our car club will be presenting it's 8th Annual Benefit Car and Bike Show at Penguin Point.

I have tons of homework and house work I will be doing, no resting for a working mother of 2 while attending college.
Here is a quick plug though:
North Side Marching Redskins are having a Nelson's Chicken Sale Next Saturday..September 11th, from 11am to 3pm. $6 for 1/2 chicken and $3 for potatoes...The Kids will be performing their show which is Music from Stan Kenton (awesome jazz music). Come out and support a great program.

Went to the NHRA Nationals Saturday....taking my son to play street hockey at a friend's Sunday, probably doing nothing Monday (he has no roller hockey practice, they gave him the night off, thanks guys!)....Tuesday night it's back to roller hockey.
