The spear wasn't anything major but was still incredibly stupid and unnessicary..I don't think he intended to hit the other guy in the head with his stick and it wasn't hard at all but it still happened and as soon as he did it I said he'd be getting suspended. I'm predicting Brad gives him 2 games
2 games is probably about right. It was premeditated retaliation. Woods is going to have to keep these shenanigans to a minimum in the playoffs.
I wouldn't mind seeing him sit in the playoffs like they did Legs. That was a bonehead move and he needs to sit like Legs did a few years ago when he speared a lumberjack player.
Hech the crosscheck he did friday was worse./ Legault missed the musky player "later" did a act job.
Mightbite, Whether he missed Later or not,The intent was still there. Legs tried to spear him and he sat for 3 games
That play woods made was very dumb. It gave Dayton a 5 minute powerplay to end the game. Uncalled for.
This wasn't the first time this year he has made a dumb play like that, just the other night he cross checked someone during our own powerplay.
We need physical play, yes, but not undisciplined play. I think when Mac comes back, Woods might be sitting.
I like Woods, but he can't keep making bone-headed plays.
