I predict Komets make playoffs. I know I am going out on a limb. Also they will go 6-3-1 the last 10 games to finish 33-26-7. They will finish in 7th place in standings. And Warner goes on IR during playoffs.

You need to know Burgee forced me to buy lunch. Claimed he was broke. Just a very good thing I had my Visa card or Paul would have made us do dishes. I looked at Burgees hands and dishwater is something they have seen very little of.
JM and myself were going to have Subway for lunch thinking we could still get a $5.00 footlong but turns out that was only in Feb. so we left and went to Wendy's and ate off the dollar menu.
RK and JR and HS!!! went to KFC today as the special was Kentucky Fried Crow......
But we got there too late as we saw SuperFan sitting in a tub of gravy finishing off the last Blackbird they had......

we're in the playoffs, thats all i need to lock in my playoff runner up prediction i made months and months ago. We are the best team in all of minor league hockey! We can knock off AHL teams or the lower level ECHL teams.

Well Blake, you caught one! I think you'll have to try another lure now. Some have gone to deeper waters to protect themselves from the predators. Patience is always good when fishing. Most times they will return to familiar surroundings.

OK. Here goes.
As the Komets begin this trip to Colorado and Rapid City, I find myself totally at a loss on what to expect. I mean sometimes this team looks terrific and impressive. Then other times ( and a lot more times than I care to think about ) they look totally absent of any passion or skill. This team has a Jekyll-Hyde personality and is impossible to predict, explain, or comprehend.
I wouldn't be surprised if they won both games or lost both games. If they lose both games I'm afraid it will be by a large margin as each team, and their fans, are looking forward and ready to see the Komets.
I do believe one thing, however. The Komets need to start converting on their power plays if they expect to win either game. Don't get me wrong. I know the penalty kill will certainly be important, too. Remember, both Colorado and Rapid City are fighting for the top spot in the division. Along with the implications these games will have in the standings, I think it means a little more to both Colorado and Rapid City than just a regular CHL game because they are playing the Komets.
Jekyll or Hyde?? If you can answer that one then you can surmise the outcome of this weekend's games. But isn't that really the trick? No one has been able to tell which team will show up the from game to game, or the entire year, for that matter.

This is just dumb. Montreal is just soft. If this play happened anywhere else on the ice it would have been a clean hit into the boards.
To his credit the player said today that he didn't want police involved although he was upset that no suspension occured.
What needs to happen is these openings need to be padded. They learned the hard way in nascar to put up soft barriers in areas like this. It only makes sense to do it where the boards/glass do not meet up.
