Arena looks pretty good from what I've seen so far. It's old, but clean, and obviously some elbow grease has been put in. Very few logos on the ice and the dasher boards look to be about 1/4 to 1/3 full, but I can only see one side of the ice. Did not get a chance to get down to the locker room before the game. Gems look to be a very small team compared to the Komets. Maybe they'll be fast. I'd guess about 500 people here for warm-ups, mostly Komets fans.

I don't think there are any bad seats in this place. It's a blue and gold version of Wings Stadium, but with older scoreboards and such. I'd guess the crowd at less than 1,000 so far and it's at least 50-50 FW fans. This press box is like the old coliseum press box in terms of proximity to the ice. It looked like they have done some work on the parking lot, too.

Before the game, the Gems retired No. 16 for Guy Trottier, No. 17 for Warren Back and No. 1 for Pat Rupp. Nice ceremony and nice touch. Unfortunately, Mike Vaskivuo is listed as No. 16 in tonight's lineup.

Blake,Thanks for the updates live from Hara. Something tells me the crowd noice will not be an issue when trying to concentrate in order to keep up with the updates. lol

Maybe. Guy Dupuis wearing the C, P.C. Drouin and Colin Chaulk the A's. Travis Whitehead is tonight's scratch. Nick Boucher and Ryan Mior in goal. Nick Suhy is the ref, Dean Pioch and Bob Marcis the officials.

Saidachev missed a check at center ice 2-on-1 for Gems and Sam Bloom scores on a short wrist shot. Gems are small but fast.

Nice pic, Blake. Doesn't look that different for some of the ECHL arena's I've seen via B2.
