Bert scored from an impossible angle to tie it up. Now we've got a delay to fix some glass behind the FW goal. Shots 32-20 Ks.

I don't think the officiating was too bad......why would Bertram shove a guy from behind into the net when the puck is no where near??????? For such an experienced team, our experienced players just continue to take needless penalties. Give it to Drulia though, he is outsmarting us on the PP and PK.....We can't stop their PP and they pressure us on our PP not allowing us to do anything. Good coaching Stan......you are beating us with less talent, less experience, and now with a goalie who has only played one professional game.

remember what happened the last time the Komets trailed 3-1 to the Icehawks? we just have to stay out of the box and we need to steal one there.

You guys took two penalties while ON the power play and we scored number 3 and 4 off of that. I'm not sure how many offensive zone penalties the komets took but there were at least two. The Icehawks seemed to just work harder tonight. The checks were overwhelmingly initiated by the Icehawks too. THe guys who were there might confirm this, but the komets seemed to flopping more trying to pick up penalties, none were called. There's a saying in sports that Stan and I talked about while on a three road games in three nights. We won all three that weekend.

Why is this pic posted here????? Though I can say that at least the bloggers have enough class to not trash the man while he's down. FW should take no joy in any wins to come against a green goalie.

From what I know about Larry I'd be suprised if he plays Friday. I could be wrong. Raphael D'orso played the last regular season game against Bloomington in a must win for them and nearly had a shutout. He's not a gobble up the puck type goalie but Stan must have seen something in him.

Losing play of the night....
Hukalo to Syro on a 2-0 rush to the net in the 3rd, and syro can't put the puck away on a Junior Goalie....the we take 2 DumbArse penalties and give-up 2 more Powerplay goals.
I noticed that they seemed to have alot of great looks at the net, and our looks seemed to be, well not so good for the most part....at least in the 3rd period....we couldn't keep the puck in our offensive zone, we would rush it down, cough it up and they would pressure us into our defensive zone and get good look after good look.
I don't ever give up....but I have to say after watching these lackluster efforts from the Komets....
Put a fork in 'em.
They are done. It would take a PC Buddy 85% effort to win the next game, guess we are in trouble.

Hit, I think you guys spent too much time, for our section's liking, in the offensive zone. One guy kept saying it was like we were on a penalty kill. Most of that time was spent on the perimeter though. When Larry left I think we pressed less and were backing up more. I watched to see if you guys had people in front of the net. Syro would kind of pass through the crease or just stand there flat footed. He got hurt pretty bad I think from a shot from one of your guys. How Leo is still alive for how many shots he takes is amazing.

Thank you to Komet fans for not falling into the Drouin trap of babbling on about the penalties. Both teams had EQUAL amounts of power plays. Fort Wayne had a FULL 2 minute 5 on 3. That game last night was very fair from a referee standpoint. Bert can say all he wants that he was just skating to his net, the problem was, he had a handful of jersey going with him. I do agree that hockey games with tons of penalties is sometimes hard to watch, but last night's game was fair. And trust me, I take my fair shots at Port Huron fans when they whine about the officiating. That is what big time players that don't show up do, they find an excuse!! Hey PC, why don't you be more productive when your team is on the PP???
