Cool. The only image that could be associated with the Komets, as far as I can tell, is on the back. Collared and chained griffins, a Canadian flag, and a horseshoe, and of course a pile of skulls and bones all around. The flag I understand, as well as "Get IN The Way", wonder what the others mean to him?

My vote goes to Reiter's mask. Lots of history and Fort Wayne references. This looks like a mix of Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and maybe some Harry Potter. I could be wrong on the Potter, I refuse to watch any of the movies, but it looks like witches and goblins and stuff from the commercials I've seen.

The only things I really don't understand are the skulls, but its B.A. either way. If I remember correctly, last year he had his family crest on the back which referenced the griffons. Then you have the Komet shooting through the sky on the front. Great personal references and value along with a modern team identification. I like it

Many goalies' masks have nothing to do with the team. Many are something that reflects something else, such a their personality, or something that has meaning to them. Personally, I could care less if there was anything on the mask in relation to the Komets, I'd rather see something on it that has meaning to the guy actually wearing it. The paint job's not for the fans....it's for the player wearing the mask.
