The Winnipeg Free Press has obituaries today for both Ray Brunel, who played in the AHL, WHL, CPL and IHL from 1957-58 to 1969-70, died Feb. 24 in Winnipeg. Brunel was inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997. He played for the Komets in 1969-70, scoring 33 goals and 88 points in 72 games.
