Kalamazoo broadcaster Mike Modugno said that Komets fans can listen to Saturday night's game on the web at kwings.com. The only problem is that the game will be joined in progress after the Michigan-Michigan State football game. Three's also a chance you can hear the game on 95.9 FM just North of Fort Wayne. That station will have the hockey game in its entirety.

If it was a K's game we would prop charge for the feed
Komets & K-Wings tied at 2 at the end of the 1st period. St. Pierre faced 10 SOG and Wings' Tom Askey faced 14 SOG.
10:09 Period 2. McWhinney in for St.Pierre after 19 total SOG. K-Wing Mike Brown in for Askey after 20 SOG.
For Hit and Co.,
Early in the 2nd period K- Mike Renzi fought David Besner.
End of 2nd, score 2-2. SOG: K-Wings 27, Komets 23.
Komets 4 @ K-Wings 3, Komets' Matt Syroczynski was awarded the #1 star of the game.
Excellent....lets now drop the puck on the Season now and start knocking some heads. I think this is going to be one heck of a hockey team in Fort Wayne this year. We have more talent in this group than the past 3-4 years put together. And no, I am not crazy!!!!
It looks like McWhinney along with being a reality TV star is also a decent protector of the polyester palace. Maybe there will not need to be an immediate search for another goalie after all?
I agree Hit cant figure who were gonna send home other than i think there might be a few guys from last year going home. Sounded like a great game wish i had heard the fight call.
What kind of crowd did K-Zoo have 2nite?
Kalamazoo's crowd was about 1/2 capacity, 2,500, for the exhibition game. The Komets' had fans in attendance.
First off...Kalamazoo is seriously lacking goal scorers. Bootland won't be able to do it all himself.
Herring is almost a carbon copy of Galbraith in looks and stlye of play. He'll be worse than Willis for Komet fans!
Now to the Komets. The Komets controlled the play early in the game and then got lax letting Kalamazoo score two quick ones.
I seriously hope Hansen doesn't pull another bonehead move like he did last night with his 5-minute major crosscheck to Herring's head. Granted Herring was retaliating to McWhinney's slash with his own spear, Hansen had no reason to clock him with his stick...a couple fists to the head would have done the trick.
Another thing...former UHL linesman Kevin Towers is now a ref and I thought he did a wonderful job of letting them play and calling what he had to. Excellent job!
