The IceHawks have equaled their total of 13 goals through the first four games, dominating in special teams (Komets 1-18 and IceHawks 5-19 through 4 games in 2008), and they won Game 2 at home in overtime. Some of the individual statistics are also remarkably similar as leading goal scorers Luciano Aquino and Mathieu Curadeau had been held without a goal four games into the 2008 series, similar to Leo Thomas and Colin Chaulk this year.

Are you really saying Leo Thomas and Colin Chaulk are on the same level as Luciano Aquino and Mathieu Curadeau? Leo Thomas and Colin Chaulk both are so out of there league. I don't even think it is close. Maybe in Chaulks prime. And I don't even know if Leo had a prime. I just don't think this team cares at all. And I have wonder why I keep caring about a team that is not showing any heart. When I show mine everynight I go.

The Komets came back to beat Rockford in 2005 and Port Huron in 2008. Colin Chaulk and P.C. Drouin are the only Komets to play in both of those series, though Guy Dupuis, Brandon Warner, Mitch Woods, David Hukalo and Justin Hodgman were on the 2008 team.

I get it now....they are just older and not as good. It happens to the best of them I guess. And we just don't have the "young" player that can go out and dominate the game like we have had in the past. IE: Aquino, Curadeau, Hodgman, etc.
I need to be persuaded to think that this team has what it takes to come back from down 3-1.....
I just don't think they have anything left in the tank.

Notice how they play good for a spurt or two, maybe a whole period,,,then they lose that spark, they seem like they have no energy left, and they lose.
I hate to be a butthead here.....but I don't think they win tomorrow night.

Generally I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to come to this conclusion: IF Bloggers = idiots, and IF LG = posting on a blog THEN it must be true that LG = idiot. But I would only say that if I were the type of person to call others names on a blog.
Either way, I think there is some truth to Hit's comment. I do hope the K's prove him wrong tonight because I am not ready to be done shooting games this season.

I think we can win tonight, so long as the boys keep their focus and actually DO what they SAY in all their interviews and the news reports. Tomorrow night, however, I have my doubts...I want them to prove me wrong! I haven't had much time to break in my Phillips t-shirt :)
