Tailing the Komets

Something needs to happen

Either someone or something needs to happen to wake everybody up. Komets had 14 shots on goal in the first period and every one of them was from outside the faceoff dots or above the top of the circles. Rob Nolan is having a very easy day.

Couldn't agree more there Blake. The K's have picked up from where the left off last night. Have not scored in 80+ minutes. And Flint is putting a body everytime the k's come into the zone

The guys are playing soft, and I argue somewhat complacent

Oh thank goodness, the win will tame the naysayers somewhat. I got the overtime right just a little off on the score

I guess there is more then one way to look at this weekend. We got 3 out of a possible 6 points. At home we got 3 of a possible 4. Win half of your games on the road and you are probably doing good as long as you maintain a good win ratio at home.

To me the concern is we should have swept the weekend instead of squeaking by with what amounts to two ties and a loss against teams we should have beat. I still think worry time isn't here yet, give it a bit more time.

On another note, it looks like South and the Flint organization may not have changed that much. Here's an article from the "Flint Journal". Of interest is the comments section, especially the one from one of the former ushers.

Also a good article on Pence.

Are the fired ushers under the age of 97? If so they should be put on stand-by in Fort Wayne.
The Komets beat a very very good goalie tonight. In college he played in front of one of the worst defenses in creation. So he is used to seeing lots of shots. I wouldn't mind seeing him in orange and black in the next few years. Looks like Scott Hay in goal. Pretty much same size, stance and technique.

Doesn't matter snuff, right now, they make everybody look like Patrick Roy.
