Come on Ft Wayne go out there and buy tickets! I know its a monday night but just as several of the players have said, theres is NO excuse to not come to the game tonight. Even if that means calling in sick or whatever.

Unfortunately, anyone with kids knows that comment is bogus... There ARE things going on that trump a Komets game... Mine is a little more unique and I will be watching from home, they just wont be able to hear me; but I'll be cheering all the same...... :)

Amen, JR, kids ALWAYS come first. That's why I drove overnight back from Port Huron. My nephew got confirmed Sunday and I would not have missed it for the world.

Um, is there a problem that my seven year old is up watching the Blackhawks with me at 11:15pm?

And the Blackhawks win, not a moment too soon. I was pretty concerned about overtime. Great 4 1/2 hours of hockey. The 6am meeting will be in what feels like 10 minutes and my kid will probably fall asleep in his lunch salad. But we were there for game 7, right?
The bad dad, who called his son in "hockey-ed out" from school after the 2008 Game 7.
Guess I should be glad my name's not on here if anyone from CPS is reading, huh?

salvucci, I kept mine home after game 7 in 2008, also. And there are people who know who me and my kid really are....is there a statute of limitations on the CPS thing? :)
