There's the announcement of the all-IHL team, but most of you will probably have more interest in the scouting report. The key stuff is near the bottom.

One thing you forgot to mention in your Scouting Report is the K's will be without PC for at least the first 3 games. That is a huge loss in scoring power and in some cases more of a loss than losing Chaulk. PC is a scorer while Chaulk is more of a set-up guy that is why I think it carries some significance. How do you replace his presences on the Point?
Good brake down, Blake. I like the K's in 5 games.
Very easily, Toe, and I say that with no disrespect to P.C. He didn't do as much against the Wings during the regular season because on their PK, their forwards come out way high to cut down the shots on the point. He's not as important in this series as players like Thomas, Hukalo, Curadeau and Hodgman are. Those players have to step up, and would have whether P.C. was in the lineup or not for the Komets to win this series.
I wouldn't disagree, but those players have to produce to make up for 98 points missing from the line-up. I think they can, but I still think it is a major blow for the K's because of the experience factor and I have always viewed PC as a clutch player
Keys to this series:
1. Must have traffic in front of Martin or Tapp if we get no traffic in front they are both capable of shutting the K's down.
2. Must punish their d-men!! We have to hit them consistantly don't give them any room.
3. PP has to be effective, Kzoo has defended our PP the best this year
4. Our Defense has to be physical in our zone in and around the net. We can't let the likes of Detulleo, Nebus, Drake, and others have room to make plays.
5. Nick has to be hot and shut the door!!!
