The fight with Goulet was unfortunate in my opinion...Mac just skated a long shift, and Goulet just got off the bench after a long rest. I think Mac could hold his own against him if they were both hoping off the bench at the sametime.
Anyone else notice the energy in the building with Mac playing?
Guy made a couple of defensive plays tonight that I cheered very loudly. He is old and not as good, but the "Guy" made some big plays tonight.
Did I hear Bert drop an F-Bomb during his #1 star interview? whoops.

Quad City impresses me everytime I see them. They are large and quick. I would welcome Stal onto the Komet roster at any moment. Very good player. QC will end-up challenging Bloomy for the final playoff spot.
Phillips is a very good D-man. I think Woodard has improved defensively. I still think he his playing out of position, why isn't it playing forward??? Best skater on the team.
What will it take to get OC going...he is close. Once he goes, then this team dominates.
Boucher looked good.
I think the K's need a heavyweight. Mac can't fight 2-3 different guys a night and survive. He is dang good, but no one can hold-up doing that.
Nice crowd tonight. Good game as well. I enjoyed it alot.

Any one notice the pat to the shoulder Jason gave Mac after the fight? I noticed it at the game and it's very obvious in the video. Professionalisim and respect. I'd take Goulet in a heart beat.
The Komets looked more excited, pushed maybe a bit harder. Still snake bit on goals though. I think they will either break out real soon or it's going to be a long, long season. My money is on a break out in the next few games.
QC does look good. It was, IMHO, a good game to watch.
