A bit more hitting tonight, and man, does Roanoke every cherry pick. DAB must love it there because nobody plays defense, including the goaltenders.
Talked to Galbraith after the game and he said this was the first time he noticed the "Wild Thing'' song. Said it used to be a song for him when he was in juniors.
I really liked the tempo and flow to the game as well. I hardly noticed referee Ian Croft, except for the first goal, which was in. He got the second one right, I think.
What did you think?

the ref. did do a pretty good job tonight.I looked at the box scores of the other teams in the u, it looks like there were not a hole lot of minors called in the them ether.
Nice game for the K's and it sounded as if we manhandeled the Vipers, which we should have. No need to call much tonight, Vipers may be the most boring team to see play, and that is why I stayed home and followed the Kzoo vs Danbury game. These two teams really dislike each other. No need to give minors in this one alot of scrums and a little old time hockey. Tyler was at his best. Oh, Sellars has played in every game since being signed by Danbury, has a goal and couple of assist and one fight. I thought Franke said there was no way he could play in back to back nights because of his knee? If that was the case we better find a someone better to evaluate injuries. We missed the boat on that one...
David. i don't think the Franke said that about Luke.I know i made a comment about the way he was walking around.I didn't think he could play much.
No, I said I didn't think there was any way he could play in back-to-back games. Franke never said anything like that. Believe me, the Frankes did everything they could legally to sign Sellars, and you can read into that anything you want to.
K's started off sluggish I thought but man did they look decent in the 3rd period. Lots of hits and scoring chances. Keep it up boys.
The second "goal" that was called a no goal was call rightly so. First it never crossed the line and second it was kicked into the goalie. It would not have counted if it did go in the net.
I thought the ref did a great job tonight with letting the few hits go by and not calling anything. Althought I thought the hit on Lance deserved a boarding, but that was because he was a step away from the baords and really took a lickin' on his way down.
Great game tonight, lets see if was can get another big win tomorrow and get Frenchy some more saves to help out his $$$!!!
Good entertainment tonight. The game had a good flow, up and down with some nice hits too.
Blake brought up the ref, so how about this. Check out tonights Rockford-Motor City boxscore. Just look at the penalties starting off at 13 seconds and scroll down. Guess who the ref was before you get to the bottom. He does it everywhere, every game he refs.
Blake are referring to that Salary Cap rule that the league has in place/?? My mistake on trying to recall what was said about Sellars...I am starting to really hate Danbury but we never get to play them...Maybe we do not want to play them I am not sure we have beaten them...Look at Rockfor and Motor City box score..look who ref the game. At least he is consistant
Komets will probably play them in the first round -- and I like their chances.
K's never seem to do too well against Danbury. I really think its because we don't play them very often. We haven't been successful in figuring out the correct strategy to beat a team like them. Once that happens (in the words of Chaser) Look Out! Komets I believe is the better team.
I believe Franke did say something to the fact of we couldn't sign the guy to a contract because he had 50 year old knees. Good observation by him huh?
Pretty good game last night. Lots of hitting and end to end action. The ref actually let the guys play and didn't call all that stupid stuff. Great game by my man, Chaulker! Love the line of Galbraith-Chaulk-Goodwin. Hope to see more great stuff tonight. Go K's!!!
Good action last night. K's played the game they have to play to win. Hopefully we'll see more of that 2nite. And for once the ref stayed hidden for the most part and let the guys play which made for good end to end action.
Ha! I think Galbraith's song should be WILD THING!!! It fits him perfectly! Great game last night..tonight will be even better! Go Komets!!

I sit at the end where the first goal was scored. It was a quick play, but the consensus (and my opinion) was that it was in by about 6 inchesh and then kicked out by the goalie's pad.
The hit on Galbraith was coming right at us. There was no boarding. he went shoulder to shoulder with the Roanoke guy in a race for the puck and lost. A good no call by Croft.
I still say we screwed up on the Mike Wiggins deal! He played his rear off out there. 26 goals would come in handy at this point. For those of you who say he is doing it on a #1 line on a bad team, so what! It just proves he has talent and can score goals. He is doing it against us, and everyone else in the league. Just wish we had been more patient with him.
