At least so far, and at least until next weekend (pretty lucky to have all three games at home, too, BTW). You've got the CHL's two hottest teams going head-to-head tomorrow night with a day off beforehand to rest up. What are you expecting from Wichita vs. Fort Wayne tomorrow night?
Plus, how many are going to be paying attention to Evansville at Quad City tonight. HUGE game.

Personally I know I'll be paying attention to the scoreboard tonight. It'll be interesting to see who Bell starts tonight. Because he has McKee back for this weekend at least but the guy just got shalacked last nite. Don't know that he trust Grant enough to play a full sixty minutes let alone a period. Mallards might be in trouble against the IceMen who can't be to happy about losing 2 straight to the Thunder.
So E'ville gets pwned by QC last night. Are they falling apart after that Wichita debacle? Lots of misconducts make it look like it.
I'm kind of surprised that no one has mentioned the raising of ticket prices for next year and the amount they have risen. The schedule is to include 36 home games. Sounds like an ECHL schedule with AHL prices. No mention of the league, etc. If they are leaving the CHL I understand their hesitancy of announcing it before the end of the (contract agreement) year.
Still, and with all due respect to the phrase "let the buyer beware", I would still like to know what I'm paying for before I dish out more cash.
Have they even announced season ticket prices for next year?
I got a brochure for next season yesterday. Pepsi Zone is $450, Upper Arena is $550, Lower Arena is $625. These are the Adult prices.
Bloomington beat Evansville, 6-2. Looking at the number of penalties on the scoresheet, I would say Evansville had another meltdown. They finished the game with 80 PIM....mostly majors and misconducts....
Love Komet hockey, I'm in for next year.
Really?
Burgee, I love your comments and your loyalty to the K's and the organization. Still, sometimes when you disagree with or feel the need to comment on things financial, I wish that instead you would just "hit" us with your wallet. It would be quicker and less painful.
Love of Komet hockey isn't an exclusive trait. Still, there are some people who don't have all the money in the world. For some attending the games and supporting the Komets through season tickets, they may be showing their love of Komet hockey in a bigger way than you by a larger sacrifice of their income. Yea, I know. It's their decision, their choice. So I'm glad that "your in". I'm probably "in" also. That doesn't mean that I don't or won't question what I'm paying for. To do other is to send a message of carte blanche.
As I have re-read this message I feel the tone of it may be a little too caustic towards you. That is not my intention as I do respect and enjoy your comments.
I just don't know how to convey my message in an alternate manner. That is my weakness, not yours.
its easy for me, i haven't been upset with a thing the past 2 decades. Well scratch that, when the coliseum got rid of the little foo foo icy drink stand that upset me.
