I'm not trying to put the cart before the horse or assume anything, but I'm wondering when the first game of the finals would be. It sounds as if it may be Saturday which would mean either Fort Wayne or Missouri would have to board the bus immediately after the game for a 14 hour trip to Wichita. That would get the teams into Wichita well after noon on Friday and have a very short period before resuming the playoffs.
I understand that the Thunder would love a Saturday night game for a large crowd. I am also sure that both the Komets and the Mavericks would love to make the trip no matter of the circumstances.
Still, just another example of why 'home ice " advantage is so important and why those points lost in the overtime/shootouts were so very important.

Just to reiterate. I'm hoping the K's aren't looking past this game. They need to win game 7 befroe worrying about the finals.
