I may not have the most chocolate chips in my cookie, but is something missing here??
Any updates on DeAngelis? Training camp? When players are coming to Fort Wayne to work out, or maybe they have? Other signings? Three and a half weeks to camp.
Mr Franke, tell us what your season ticket holders want to know.

I've been wondering same thing Alan has. Time is getting short and it seems there is still work to be done. I still think they need 2 or 3 more defensemen with experience in camp. And maybe another forward or 2.

Very curious about Frankie. Wondering why he is being offered an AHL tryout if he is seriously considering retiring from AA hockey. Wondering if he did sign with the K's again, how much enthusiasm he would have if he were really thinking about giving up hockey.

Time to move on from Frankie, IMO. He's an average offensive dman with a lot of weaknesses that could easily be exploited in the ECHL. Fantastic IHL dman, average CHL, and with the E being more competitive..Meh. There's better/equal talent out there that would come at a lower cost. With that said, I expect his signing to be announced soon amd I'd love to see him prove me wrong.

I think you are wrong about Frankie being an average defenseman. You need to remember that the last 3 years he has been paired with the worst defenseman on the team. 2 years with Warner and 1 with Lovell and he was still the top defenseman on the team. Imagine if he was paired with someone better for a whole season.

I am going to have to agree with JC on this one. OrangeKrush, I don't think a guy who has been a 2 time finalist for the CHL's best d-man is average, or the fact that he had was second in the league for points and goals, or that 2 years ago he led his team in points in regular season and playoffs, or that he led the CHL in scoring for d-man in this years finals. Plus I think he was named to an all-star team his last 3 years (not sure). His plus minus is solid and does well for his size in both ends. If thats average then I want to know what above average is to you
I hope he can stay with us, but the team still looks good. Can't wait for the season to start
