Nice article Blake. My hopes are that they show us by their actions that they mean what they say...time will tell.
Wow, just read all the notes from "fans" on the Chirp article....some really sour folks out there.
Folks seem to forget that Maggio is still basically a rookie with very few games under his belt. While I agree about Henlely struggling, he is a presence on the ice and we all go thru struggles in our lives. Sure would like to see some of these "fans" skate, hold a stick, handle and puck and try and not be hit on the ice....it is a tough sport...ease off.
Nice to see Caputi and Lasch gone....did not do much for the team as a Team.
Thank God for our goaltenders....do not know how bad it could be if we still had a prior one this year.
Best of luck K's during this homestand.

Brittain is back in Norfolk... Hopefully Metz can shock everyone and fill some big shoes. Also we got Cous back.

Toledo is a very boring team to watch, no guys to hate and they don't carry any toughness EuroHockey at best

How the hell can ANYONE be happy to see two guys who averaged more than a point a game...gone?
When they first got here, Caputi and Lasch were the most explosive and exciting offensive pairing since...the Russians.
But...they had to fit "the system"...and they don't...putting them in "the system" is like taking a thorobred and hitching it to a sulky cart...doesn't work. So, we sat one of them...and Norfolk took them back...and probably ain't gonna be real anxious to send us more quality people.
Seeing a big first-year CHL flashback...where we don't have the right people for "the system" at this level...so bring in new people...or bag "the system" and make something work with what we have.
One team played 59 minutes tonight...the other...about 12. One practice isn't gonna fix that.
