Hey Blake any word on any trade talks yet i know we have the scoring but i think a message should be sent to these players by trading a couple away ..trade two forwards and two defensemen it wouldn't hurt at this point ..

Who would you like to see traded? I'm betting everyone has different answers on this one.

Ok I will bite there Blake: Knowing you have to give up some Talent I would put Giosa and Smith on the block. Smith as a vet has something to give in terms of his playoff experience and with Giosa decent size player that has produced some this year. Anyone on our Blue Line, the only one back there that I don't think has value is Henley remember Henley has bad knees and he really has not had a very good year. I would also throw Hoban into the mix figuring any deal the K's would have to do would more than likely be a 2 for 1. Honestly I really don't think they will pull the trigger. Over the last couple of years the really have not "traded" for anyone mostly looking at the waiver wire. Even this year they have not claimed anyone via waivers, I saw today a 6-4 American born d-man was on the waiver wire...

well Blake theres a couple different ways you can look at it i think we will have to give up a couple players in a trade to get the value of player the frankes want ...i would say a forward and defensemen trade maybe henley/schrock ..maybe Smith/kishel ...theres so many trades that could happen but will they really happen at this point

I fully believe that if Schrock wasn't a Fort Wayne native he would have been cut awhile ago. Every team needs role players and that's what he is. The problem is that he isn't playing his role. If he can't do it anymore then cut ties with him. I'm not sure why he is still wearing the "A". If they can trade him then they should pull the trigger. The K's need a lot of help especially on defense but if they can some how make the playoffs, they could make a run. Norfolk is not making the playoffs so they could send Schaus, Brittian, Caputi, and maybe Guentzel. Those would be solid additions for a playoff run. The defensive 6 would be Schaus, Butler, Milam, Hegarty, Maggio, and maybe Guentzel. Then you have Chaulk, Smith, Rizk, Brittian, Caputi, Marino, Giosa, Firman, Beauregard, and Syro. Not a bad line up at all.

Norfolk would only be sending players down after their season is over which is 3 weeks after the ECHL season is finished. That means the Komets would have to get in the second round to pick up any help.
