Wow...cannot believe anyone can lay fault at Jeff's feet. He was hung out to dry most of the game - especially the 2nd period. The score could have easily been much worse. He made some incredible glove and toe saves that would make any highlight reel.

Really cannot understand the dislike of Jeff just because you are a Charlie E. fan. Even Charlie credits Jeff with helping him work on his game and seems to harbor no bad feelings. Our terrible defense is the main reason Jeff has had some tough outtings not to mention the almost non-existent back checking of our forwards. Now there is a group to blame things on...don't play team defense and don't score goals...but not much excuse to pin this on the goalie...JMO

all i can say again is welcome to an affiliate league. a pro gets sent down and the independent guy is gonna sit. black and white, no grey area here. you guys wanted a move to the echl so quit complaining when a normal thing for this league takes place.

I'm just suspicious of a person "who" says they go to the games, and then criticizes the play of an obviously strong player. He easily makes saves that has every other goalie in a Komets uniform sprawled out on the ice in a desperate attempt at a save.
Yes, he has given up goals, however they are usually the same type of goal that every goalie has given up here for years. The backdoor shot because no one is back there to protect the backside. That's a product of our defense, and to some extent the defenseman playing it.
People who go to the games actually have seen that though. Not the one's "who" read the box score in the paper..........

Yes, you cant fault Jeff for every loss here . And I'm a big Charlie fan also. I think Jeff has done great. I mean even a NHL goalie playing for a NHL team doesnt stop every shot.
