I am proud to say that I saw both goaltenders play in person. Not only that, I saw them both win cup-clinching games at the Memorial Coliseum. I am forever grateful that Dad took me to Game 5 of the Turner Cup Finals in 1963 so I was there to witness the Komets winning their first Turner Cup.

Very nice comment, Rick.
Just the simple act of your Dad taking you to the Komet game that evening forever etched a wonderful memory for you. I would guess that it probably molded you into an even greater Komet fan.
