Tailing the Komets

Komets sign Vaskivuo, send Maggio's rights to San Fran

They also signed center Jake Hauswirth who adds some size up front at 6-5, 215.

Another center? But we traded Rizk because we had too many centers. Lol. I think the FoxNews fact checker needs to keep the Komets Press Releases from contradicting themselves.

Glad to see Vaski back in the fold.

Would Maggio have spent much time here? Looks like Lake Erie used him in goon capacity last season do I wonder if he'll have a real shot at the "A" again this season.

Welcome back Vaskivou....lets hope you tear up the ECHL....

Hate to lose Maggio's rights; but I'm sure he's hoping to land on an AHL roster....

Depth center with size....  Nice to see a forward signed carrying some beef....

Good day overall.  I think they said they would be announcing a goalie as well...  Any word?

This is a really good hockey player the Komets have brought back. I know Alan will be extremely happy. Now we are a long way away from who will be on the final roster but cap space is going to be an issue. This guy and few others will not be cheap.  A big time target ( goalkeeper in Canadian)  making headlines, that has to be the next piece of the puzzle.

The  strength at center is never a bad thing.  Centers can go to the wing easier than wingers to center. So if you look at four great guys in the middle that is a very good start.

These are the best off season moves by the Komets ever.

Well thought out, just amazing.

Just a thought -- Glad the K's aren't on the opposite side of these signings in giving up talent for the unknown if they would be able to sign the 'Rights' to a player.  Obviously not the only reason to make a trade but worthy to note. Time will tell which teams have the better end.

Looking forward to seeing how the roster shakes out.

Is it too obvious for Vaskivuo, Auger & Marino for line 1

Interested in seeing Lang, Fleming & Hauswirth along with seeing the bigs in Pepin & Pokulok
