Komets assigned goaltender

The Komets have been assigned goaltender Andrey Makarov from the Buffalo Sabres. He's 20 and was signed as a free agent.  He played in 61 games for the Saskatoon Blades last year and was 37-17- 5 with 7 shutouts; posting a 2.62 goals against and .919 save percentage. He's meeting the Komets in Las Vegas. Bobby Hughes and Mickey Lang did make the trip, also.

Are they keeping 3 goalies for the weekend or is Strang headed back to Bloomy?

They have not made an announcement because they are all in the air on the way and are unavailable, but my guess is that Strang will be released to go back to Bloomington.

According to the ECHL website Strang has indeed been released.
