Komets name Schrock captain

I think Auger would make a better captain. He hustles all of the time and doesn't make a lot of talk about nothing. Just saying......

I know this won't be a favorable selection with a few people on the board , but the important thing its a favorable decision within the team itself and that why I think this is gonna work. 

Maybe this will jump start the hitting, agitating, and fighting aspect of his game that has been lacking this season... He's not a scorer at this level, so he might as well do what he is good at...

i bet he is a vocal guy in the locker room. and i would like nothing more, than to see him step up and shut us up. but IMO, he HAS to step up his game. Like JR states, not a scorer at this level. but he better  be hitting everything in site, and agitating everyone at every moment. cuz if he doesnt, this could be a last straw for the coach and management. aweful lot of moves for team, not all bad. but somethings gotta happen, and soon.

The decisions that the GM and the coach continue to make are ridiculous. How do you expect other guys in the locker room to respect a captain that technically doesn't even have the skill to play in this league? The management better figure it out quickly or the 4000 people in attendance on a Saturday night will become the norm.

Have to agree with Ron...if that is the overall feeling between management and the team....then lets run with it....I wish him luck, I think he can perform at this level and onward to a more productive rest of the season.

P. S. - how about being a little more positive on changes instead of always ragging about them...might change your attitudes and outlooks?

I have been very critical of Schrock at times as well and have often thought there could be better players out there.... BUT I have played with Schrock and he is a great leader. He always finds a way to keep it positive and inspire you to play better than you thought you were capable of.  I dont think someone has to be a better player than me to earn my respect and to lead me. Lets go Komets!

I have to agree with Sharon.

But this is truly an instance where the locker room has to make the decision.  Not the coach, not the GM, just the team.  Whatever makes this team better, I'm all for.

Forgetting about Schrock as captain for a moment,  what has happened to Lang and Vaskivuo?

Don't tell me that they have been traded, too.  In fact, don't even tell me that they've been injured.

Holy hockey sticks!  Forwards on this team are becoming scarcer than honest men in Congress.

really would have liked to see Chris Auger get the captain spot but hope Schrock does a good job and gets this team fired up. Shouldnt he have been doing that anyways as an alternate. But also, what IS going on with Lang and Vaskivuo as I dont see them currently on the roseter page?

IM humble opinion, this is a developmental league and as such, the amounts of hitting, fighting and agitating will be at a minimum....suggestion for those who want to see more of this....drop down a league or go frequent the CHL....really?

Best to you Schrocky....hope the Lang and Vaskivuo situation works itself out...whatever it is.
