Also is it just the angle or is the ice surface alot bigger there?

Fleming needed that goal last night. I think it helped start his scoring back up. 1-0 now thanks to him.

I wondered the same thing about the ice surface, but I think it's just the angle. So far, it looks like the Ks have done a pretty good job keeping the play in the Reading end. Ice looks pretty uneven, too.

Best period for the Komets I have seen in a while. But, 3 goal leads tend to be our kryptonite.

Beautiful pass from Danis-Pepin on the third goal for the power-play marker. That one would have been tough to miss. The Auger-Fleming-Marino line is off to a great start this weekend.

If you would have bet me Schrock would have as many shots after the first period as Readings whole team. I would have lost the bet...

This camera angle looks a little better this period.

OK, I was definitely wrong about the camera angle if they are going to focus this close so you can't see anything and jerk around constantly. I may hurl.

It feels like one of those action movie scenes where you can't tell what is going on at all... Just a bunch of moving bodies and you just hope it is your guy that is celebrating when it is over.

doesn't it kind of freak you out when you look up and see that Coyle is in front of the pack on offense? Shouldn't he be more concerned about protectin the 3-1 lead?

Hartman and Lacasse have quietly become a very nice defensive pairing.

Protecting a lead? That isn't the Komet way sir. We believe that everyone should win. Send it to overtime. POINTS FOR EVERYONE! :)

This might be where Makarov needs to make a nice, momentum-changing save to give everybody some confidence.

Very impressed with how we have played so far! Auger' s shortly was a beauty to watch. Looks like Reading is starting to get somewhat frustrated. By the way, this isn't T-ball where everybody is a happy camper. Go K's!!!!
