18 Komets games on MyTV

From a Komets press release:

The Fort Wayne Komets and MyTV Fort Wayne announced Wednesday that live telecasts of select Komet road games will continue for the second consecutive season.  18 games have been selected to be broadcast on the station's Fort Wayne digital and cable channels, an increase of six games over last season.

21Alive's Tommy Schoegler and Kent Hormann will again handle play-by-play duties.  Schoegler will also host SoundOff with the Komets for the fourth consecutive season starting Oct. 6 on
21Alive.  Sound Off with the Komets will be telecast live from SportONE/Parkview Icehouse, located on Fort Wayne's north side at 3869 Ice Way, each Monday night at 7:30 throughout the year.

"We are excited to be able to partner with the Komets again, and to grow our coverage to 18 road games," WISE/WPTA President & General Manager Don Osika said.  "Northeast Indiana is passionate about their hockey, and Tommy and Kent  definitely share in that passion.  This is a great opportunity for Komets fans to see games they may not normally be able to see, and best of all they're free on MyTV Fort Wayne.  We couldn't be happier!  Thanks to the Komets organization for being such great sports partners!"

The MyTV Komet Hockey broadcast schedule begins with the Komets' season opener at Indianapolis Friday, Oct. 17 at 7:30pm and concludes with the Komets' final road game of the year at Kalamazoo Friday, April 10 at 7:30pm.
