Comments
Congrats to Szyd! This is a long overdue honor to one of the best players so far this season.
Allow me to echo the comments by WF. Szydlowski has been a very pleasant surprise. I wouldn't be surprised to see him move up. (Isn't he the third Komet to receive this award this season? The other two (Heard and Pistilli) were both called up).
Whatever the communication was that occured between him and Graham last year has certainly renewed his scoring.
Here is a guy who, I feel, will either get his chance to play in the AHL or go to Europe next year. Nothing more to prove at this level and we should enjoy his play while we still have the chance.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Hope Nagle and Faille are next. Szyd is fourth Komet to get POW. Pistilli, Heard, and Meurs were there previously and no other team has more than one POW.
AHL bound in a week from what I hear. If that is true good for him if not then that stinks.
