I really like this kid! He is always moving and hitting and draws a lot of penalties on the other team. He is a very fast skater and has shown great energy. I believe he deserves to be here. Some very hard decisions will have to be made when everyone eventually gets back. I just hope they keep Thomas around for the long haul.

Great post, Teresa 215!
I agree with everything you pointed out.
I'm wondering when Coach Graham may make him a permanent fixture on the penalty kill.

As I have said before, love to see Thomas, Higgs and Quayle play. Sad, but I am sure with the two players back, Harrison is gone and is most likely Higgs.
Thomas reminds me of Smitty from a few years ago...a ball of fire and the energizer bunny all in one.

Who, I'm not quite sure why you chose Harrison and Higgs.
By my count the Komets have 14 forwards on the roster, but that includes Petryk (up in Lake Erie) and Crowder and Severyn (both on IR). That would take them down to 11. Most likely they'll dress 10, right?
On defense they have 8 on the roster, but that includes Tam (on IR). So if they dress 6, they would have to scratch one.
They could dress nine forwards and all seven defensemen.
None of this includes any salary cap problems but because I respect your opinions I wish you could clarify your reasoning. Thanks.
By the way. To STH's. Early Bird pricing was in my mailbox today.

Yes, Anonymous, it was posted on here three days ago in the comments. I'm hearing Sean O'Connor is going to play for the Wings as well.

I'm not sure they have to cut anybody. They are still under the roster limit and should also be under the salary cap. You can always add a player on reserve and pull him off at any time as well.

All of the above, but it's happening all over the league. Gotta love ECHL hockey. Pay big prices while your league does nothing to protect the fans.

According to the ECHL transaction page for today, the Komets have put on reserve Harrison and Krug.
Looked up the Indy stats and the thing that jumped out at me is that Carruth and Owen (the goaltenders) have nice goals against averages. Their statistcs are much better than what their history would indicate. That tells me that the Indy defense is playing very well in front of them.
